On March 7, 2025, Perlove Medical successfully held the 11th Orthopedic Surgical Robot Training Session at its Nanjing headquarters. The “Mastering Orthopedic Robotics“training series focuses on the “Clinical Applications and Future Prospects of Orthopedic Surgical Robots”, aiming to popularize cutting-edge concepts in surgical robotics and promote the continuous advancement of robot-assisted navigation technology in diagnosis and treatment.
The training session was led by chief physicians from top-tier hospitals, who are actively engaged in frontline clinical practice. Through in-depth analysis of numerous clinical surgical cases, participants gained a deeper understanding of the practical value of orthopedic surgical robots and explored their future development prospects.
During the showroom visit, Perlove Medical’s chief clinical expert systematically introduced key technologies such as the robotic navigation system, trajectory registration principles, mechanical feedback mechanisms, and dynamic position tracking. A live demonstration was also conducted, showcasing how surgical planning software can be used for preoperative implant simulation and real-time path planning.
In the final hands-on session of the training, Perlove Medical provided participants with an immersive simulation experience. Divided into groups, the trainees conducted animal experiments to simulate the full workflow of the orthopedic surgical robot, from preoperative planning to intraoperative navigation, enabling them to seamlessly integrate theory with practice.
